About
Originally from Margarita Island, Venezuela, Laura has been working with clay since early childhood; her passion for color has translated into her work by vividly representing nature in the colors and shapes of her pieces.
Laura’s work is inspired by the sun and the sea of the islands. By incorporating different materials, such as glass and diverse types of glazing and oxides, she is able to create unique wonderful pieces that escape the ordinary.
Working with clay was her first love. Currently, Laura works from her workshop in San Juan while continuing to take classes at the Liga de Arte de San Juan with renowned artist Hiram W. Rosado Poupart.
